Keisha Cruickshank is a Trinidad and Tobago national who is passionate about human development, human rights and education and committed to service. She envisions a world where every human being can realise their fullest potential and lead a productive, healthy and abundant life.

She has extensive experience leading corporate, virtual and voluntary community-based teams and designing behaviour-change campaigns, materials and programmes.
Ms. Cruickshank began her professional career as a human resource management practitioner in the financial, education, business and health sectors. Her work later expanded to include broader organisational and management matters, local sustainability planning, gender, business development, project and programme implementation, resource management, and social and community service.
Throughout her career, she has aligned herself with organisations whose missions are compatible with her personal mission and purpose.
Education and Institutional Development
Ms. Cruickshank served as a member of the Project Implementation Committee appointed by the Anglican Church to oversee the establishment of Bishop Anstey High School East and Trinity College East. She was also an integral member of the team that developed the vision, mission, core values, direction and Strategic Plan for the Schools.
During her tenure, the initial cadre of one hundred and twenty (120) employees was recruited. Many were highly trained teachers with significant tenure in the Public Service who were encouraged to accept employment and embrace and commit themselves to the vision for the Schools.
From the Schools’ inception to 2006, she led the design and implementation of their human resource management architecture, with responsibility for, inter alia:

Organisational culture-building
She returned to the Schools in 2021 and served as Head of Administration before returning full-time to her private work.
Leadership and Community Impact
For close to two decades, Ms. Cruickshank served the YWCA of Trinidad and Tobago in various roles, including Assistant Honorary Treasurer, followed by consecutive terms as President of the organisation.
She represented the YWCA at the quadrennial World YWCA World Council and at capacity-building meetings convened in Kenya and Switzerland, both as a delegate and facilitator.
Ms. Cruickshank successfully managed and implemented an intensive agenda of community programming, outreach, organisational development and transformation. This included initiatives undertaken with grant funding secured from:

The World YWCA
The Inter-American Development Bank through the Ministry of National Security’s Citizen Security Programme
The JB Fernandes Memorial Trust Fund
In fulfilment of these projects, she worked in communities including Farm Road, St. Joseph; Covigne and Patna Village, Diego Martin; Enterprise, Chaguanas; and Embacadere, San Fernando.
She continues her service to the YWCA at the Local Association level. She is also a Past President of the Association of Female Executives of Trinidad and Tobago and has served as a Director of the Network of NGOs for the Advancement of Women.
Development and Resource Stewardship
Ms. Cruickshank strongly believes that every person, community and organisation has within it the ability to find and implement creative, practical solutions for its own development and, ultimately, national development.
Recognising that the ability to realise one’s dreams and goals is often influenced by access to resources and the ability to leverage them effectively, she provides customised financial wellness, education and development services to individuals, employees, families, community groups and organisations.
Academic and Professional Preparation
Ms. Cruickshank holds:
A BSc in Sociology and Management
Postgraduate qualifications in Human Resource Management from the UWI Institute of Business, now the Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business
An MSc in Planning and Development from The University of the West Indies, Faculty of Engineering, which focused heavily on land-use planning and sustainable development
Project Management for Development Practitioners qualifications obtained in Jamaica
Certification as an International Financial Architect, having completed the IFA Academy’s Risk Management Software and Consulting Methodology Programme
Associate Financial Advisor certification completed towards the Master Financial Advisor designation. She also commenced the Financial Services Certified Professional programme with The American College.
Certified Financial Education Instructor designation through the National Financial Educators Council, USA
Her additional training includes in Industrial Relations and Labour Law from the Employers’ Consultative Association and Essential Mediation Skills, Conflict Resolution and Negotiation through The University of the West Indies.
Her experience spans work with individuals, corporate organisations, educational, health and financial institutions (banking, insurance, credit unions) as well as non-profit organisations, communities and faith-based spaces.
ACE Global and Public Education
Ms. Cruickshank is Director of ACE Global and its Empowerment Series. She also founded and operated the Innovators Robotics Club for many years, an initiative designed to inspire creativity and innovation among young people.
She remains committed to human development and regularly designs and delivers public education and community outreach programmes that provide practical developmental support for employees, families, organisations and communities.
Church and Community Service
From her early years of service in the Church, Ms. Cruickshank has been actively involved in parish life. Her initial ministries included Music Ministry as well as service on the Vestry and the Building and Lands Committee.
Today, she continues to serve faithfully as the resident guitarist in the Music Ministry alongside her son, who serves as a drummer. She is also actively involved in Youth Ministry, Communications Ministry, the Bible Study Group, Lay Ministry, where she serves as Assistant Coordinator, and the Building and Lands Committee, where she serves as Secretary. She also provides periodic support to the Men’s Ministry whenever called upon.
Beyond Her Professional Work
A mother of one, Ms. Cruickshank is also a long-serving former member and guitarist of the Los Parranderos de UWI Parang Group. She enjoys gardening, sport, music and the arts, which she believes are powerful vehicles for personal, community and national development.
Her academic pursuits, professional experience, values and diverse interests continue to fuel her passion for organisational transformation, community development and meaningful societal change.
